Two wins helped the Iowa State women’s basketball team move up two spots in the latest USA TODAY Sports Network Coaches Poll.
The Cyclones checked in at No. 17 in the latest poll released Tuesday. Iowa State previously had been ranked No. 19.
But a pair of dominant wins over first USC Upstate and then Central Michigan helped the Cyclones move up.
Iowa State, which is 8-2, has won three straight games and four of its last five games. The Cyclones play at No. 24 Iowa on Wednesday.
