Another successful season of Iowa women’s basketball is in the books.
The Hawkeyes began the season just inside the top 25 and never left the rankings. Iowa climbed as high as No. 7 nationally in the USA TODAY Sports women’s basketball coaches poll.

In Jan Jensen’s second season at the helm, Iowa secured a second-place Big Ten regular-season finish and reached the Big Ten Tournament championship game against eventual national champion UCLA. Iowa’s season ended with a second-round NCAA Tournament loss to Virginia.
The Hawkeyes finished 27-7 (15-3 Big Ten). As a result of another great season, Iowa ends at the No. 12 spot in the final Coaches Poll.
