After yet another sensational week of play for Iowa women’s basketball (18-2, 9-0 Big Ten), senior forward Hannah Stuelke has added to her growing collection of honors. The 6-foot-2 native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was named Naismith Women’s College Player of the Week.
Over the past week, Stuelke’s on-court prowess has led the Hawkeyes to two wins over top-15 opponents (No. 13 Maryland and No. 11 Ohio State), during which she averaged 15.0 points on 46.2% shooting, along with 13.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steal and 1.0 block per game.
