Is Caitlin Clark in 2026 NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest?

by

Caitlin Clark was heavily rumored to participate in the 2025 NBA All-Star 3-Point Contest before declining to focus on the WNBA season. Those rumors are still alive with the 2026 3-Point Contest upon us.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen Clark light it up from deep. She played only 13 games and missed the entire playoffs for the Indiana Fever last year due to various lower-body injuries. Still, Indiana managed to reach the semifinals, where it stole two games from A’ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.

Clark has said she’s 100% healthy now — music to the ears of a Fever team that could’ve possibly won a title if she was out there last postseason.

So, with Clark back to her physical peak, is she taking part in the NBA’s 3-Point Contest? The answer is no.

New York Liberty star Sabrina Ionescu is the one and only WNBA star to take on an NBA player in an NBA-hosted 3-Point Contest, narrowly losing to the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry back in 2024. A cross-league 3-Point Contest has yet to happen again, though it’d certainly be welcomed.
