As Iowa State women’s basketball’s losing streak continued, the Cyclones fell from the top 10 of the Associated Press rankings and tumbled down the list.

Now the Cyclones are completely out of the AP Top 25.

Iowa State is no longer a ranked team in the latest AP poll, which was released on Jan. 19. The Cyclones had previously been ranked 19th. They received a few votes this week but not enough to crack the Top 25.

It has been a fast fall for Iowa State, which began the season ranked in the Top 25 and rapidly rose in the rankings after matching a program record with 14 straight wins to kick off the year.

After injuries to guard Arianna Jackson and forward Addy Brown, the Cyclones have dropped five straight games, falling to 14-5 on the season including 2-5 in Big 12 Conference play.

Iowa State is coming off an especially tough week that saw the Cyclones lose a pair of road games at Colorado and Oklahoma State.
