NASCAR’s annual Easter break has arrived.

That’s right — there won’t be any race to watch this weekend, which marks the first pause in the Cup Series schedule since the season started in February. Drivers are coming off of an intense race in Martinsville last week at the Cook Out 400, in which Chase Elliott took the checkered flag.
Not to worry though, NASCAR will be back in action before you know it. After Easter, the Cup Series will head into a stretch of high-profile races, including the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway, the AdventHealth 400 at Kansas Speedway and the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega.
Don’t miss out when the 2026 season returns.
Here’s everything you need to know about the NASCAR schedule, including TV channel and timing for the next Cup Series race.

Is there a NASCAR race this week?
No, there is not a NASCAR race this week, as drivers will take the week off for Easter. This is the first scheduled non-racing weekend for the Cup Series in the 2026 season and the only bye week until the beginning of August following the Brickyard 400.
This follows suit from last year, when NASCAR decided not to host a race on Easter for the first time in three years.
