Anticipation for the Daytona 500 and the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season is rising, but fans will have to wait another week.

NASCAR is not racing this weekend to avoid conflict with Super Bowl 59, when the Kansas City Chiefs battle the Philadelphia Eagles.

While there’s no NASCAR race, the NASCAR Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony is this weekend to celebrate the sport’s Class of 2025.

Here is what you need to know about NASCAR this weekend.

There is no NASCAR race this weekend as the sport does not want to conflict with the Super Bowl.

When is Daytona 500?

The 67th running of the Daytona 500 is set for 1:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 16 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida. William Byron won last year’s race.

When is the NASCAR Hall of Fame induction?

The 2025 NASCAR Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony begins at 7 p.m. CT on Friday at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ceremony will be shown on the NASCAR Channel on Tubi and broadcast on the radio on the Motor Racing Network.
