The Ohio State Buckeyes won the 2024-2025 national championship and now begin the difficult task of preparing to defend their championship.
The Buckeyes and their head coach Ryan Day are routinely at or near the top of the recruiting rankings, and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith is one of their biggest recruiting coups of the last few years.

On Wednesday, Smith foreshadowed a major forthcoming announcement as he appeared to hint that he has insider information of a potential superstar commitment for the Buckeyes’ Class of 2026.

The Buckeyes superstar shared a single emoji that showed how he felt about Sunday’s commitment announcement involving Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, a four-star receiver from Santa Ana, California who will choose between five powerhouse schools.
The Buckeyes will have to beat out fellow Big Ten powers USC and Oregon for Dixon-Wyatt’s services, along with the Texas Longhorns and Alabama Crimson Tide.
Ohio State has become one of the most successful programs at wide receiver development in recent years, sending players including Chris Olave, Michael Thomas, Garrett Wilson, Terry McLaurin and others to the pros, where they would each become stars in their own right.
