Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka and No. 3-ranked division contender Carlos Ulberg will battle for the vacant 205-pound strap in the upcoming UFC 327 main event on Paramount+, scheduled for this Sat. night (April 11, 2026) inside Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
Alex Pereira surrendered the crown to try his luck at heavyweight.

Prochazka and Ulberg came face-to-face for the first time earlier today in “The Sunshine State” and fans on social media were surprised by the size of “Black Jag.” Not that he magically got any bigger since his last fight, but seeing him next to “BJP” is a reminder that Ulberg is taller.
That said, Prochazka has the longer reach.
Prochazka (32-5-1) opened as the early betting favorite.
“Jiri is obviously the chaotic fighter,” Ulberg (13-1) told MMA Junkie. “Chaos vs. order, is what it is. Yeah, that’s what that fight is. So it’s a fight that’s always been due to happen, and we’re here now, so this is it, and we’ve been preparing for years for this fight. I think we’ve always been watching Jiri on this come-up, and I’ve always been keeping an eye on a lot of the guys that I could potentially fight. I have fought some of the guys already in Jan and some of the other fighters, Reyes recently, so now it’s just um Jiri to take out. Then after that, we’ve got some other fights that we need to look forward to.”
