Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt couldn’t help but reflect on all of the chaos across college football after Week 6. So many of the country’s top teams are now unranked after having their seasons derailed via multiple defeats. Klatt went on to rank his top 10 teams his podcast, “The Joel Klatt Show.”
“Let’s look at the preseason AP top 10,” Klatt said. “And we look at what went on. And it’s like Texas was one, Penn State was two, Ohio State was No. 3, and Clemson was No. 4. I mean, we are 8-7 between those three teams that were in the top four in the AP poll.”

Klatt went on to highlight that among the preseason top 10, maybe only Miami and Ohio State have exceeded expectations. He’s also been impressed with how Alabama has played to begin the season. Klatt really likes Alabama’s passing attack.
Klatt ranks the Georgia Bulldogs as his No. 9 team. Georgia is his second-ranked team with a loss behind Alabama.
“We know that Georgia has some flaws,” Klatt said. “There’s no doubt. We also know that they are potent and that they could beat anybody.”
Klatt ranks Ohio State as the No. 1 team in the country. He thinks Ohio State has all the ingredients needed to succeed and puts them in a tier, along with Miami and Oregon, above the rest of the nation’s top teams.

“They are the team that has not shown a real weakness in any game,” Klatt said on Ohio State. “And that’s why they’re number one. They are suffocatingly good because they have answers.”
