Julius Randle and the New York Knicks are set to begin the 2024-25 season without a contract extension in place.
According to Ian Begley of SportsNet New York, the idea of an extension has not been a priority for either side throughout the offseason.
Randle is currently in the third year of his four-year, $117 million contract, which includes a player option for the final year.
Despite the lack of urgency regarding an extension, both parties seem comfortable with the situation as the Knicks’ training camp approaches.
