Arizona has made great strides in putting together a solid recruiting class for 2027, hosting dozens of high school prospects the last few weekends and getting several to lock in commitments. Since the beginning of June the Wildcats have earned pledges from nine prep recruits including 4-star receiver Ty Johnson.
But the junior college ranks continue to be a place where the UA will search for talent, and on Tuesday it earned a commitment from offensive lineman James Aloisio. He becomes the 14th member of Arizona’s 2027 class.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Aloisio currently plays for Snow College in Utah, where he helped the Badgers qualify for a bowl game in 2025. Originally from Hawaii, Aloisio played high school football in Utah and signed with Utah State before going on an LDS mission and then attending Snow.

Aloisio is the first offensive lineman in Arizona’s 2027 class, which on the offensive side had to this point focused on skill position players. In the 2026 class it signed three prep offensive linemen and added three from the transfer portal.
