With the WNBA All-Star Game approaching, the league’s brightest stars will have a chance to make their mark and take home the coveted MVP Award.
WNBA All-Star Weekend will take place from July 24-25, and the All-Star Game will take place on the 25. This year’s All-Star Weekend got off to a strong start after Barack Obama, who was the 44th president of the United States of America, surprised all 22 All-Star players as he arrived to greet them.

All-Star Weekend marks the halfway point of the season, and players get to restart before the second half of the season. Some players use the All-Star Game to get their rhythm back and focus on dominating the game on the brightest stage.
Here are three players who could win the All-Star Game MVP.
Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark has an opportunity to take home the WNBA All-Star MVP this weekend because of her ability to shoot from anywhere on the court. Not to mention, she will be playing with an elite passer in guard Olivia Miles, which will allow her to play off the ball.
Clark is also a strong passer and will be able to join forces with forward A’ja Wilson, who is leading the league in scoring with 26.1 points per game. Not to mention, she will have forward/center Aliyah Boston, who is her respected teammate in Indiana.

Forward Jessica Shepard will also help the team with second-chance points, which could help Clark relocate for open threes. Clark, who was recently announced as an NBA 2K27 feature, will be able to space the floor and attack the line with her teammates requiring attention on defense.
Guard Paige Bueckers has a chance to take home the WNBA All-Star Game MVP because of her high IQ, ability to get others involved, and offensive prowess. She has the opportunity to join her Wings teammate, guard Arike Ogunbowale, who won All-Star MVPs in 2021 and 2024.
Bueckers will be able to stretch the floor and will take advantage of her ability to shoot from three, and she will most likely slither her way to the lane where she can finish for a layup or dish it out to her teammates.

The Dallas guard can finish from all three phases of the floor and will be able to play pick-and-roll with Breanna Stewart, Gabby Williams, or Natasha Howard. Not to mention, she will also be able to kick it to Kelsey Mitchell.
Currently, the Wings are in fourth place in league standings and are having one of the franchise’s best seasons since 2016.
Kelsey Mitchell has one of the best chances to win the All-Star Game MVP because of her ability to score at will. She can attack the basket while finishing through contact, and she can shoot from three consistently.
While Clark often receives a lot of the attention regarding the franchise’s success, Mitchell is a huge reason for the team being able to weather storms and moving to fifth in league standings at 17-10.

Mitchell thrives as an off-ball and primary scoring threat. She will feed off catching passes from Bueckers and her All-Star teammates.
She will be able to push the pace and run in transition, as there will be a lot of fast-paced play in the All-Star Game.
