The No. 10 Georgia Bulldogs (3-1) are looking for a game to get right after losing to the No. 11 Alabama Crimson Tide (3-1) 24-21. The Kentucky Wildcats (2-2) are the perfect matchup. Kentucky is 0-2 in the SEC after losing to No. 4 Ole Miss 30-23 and South Carolina 35-13. The Wildcats are projected to finish in the bottom of the SEC again.
Georgia will need to execute better on third down in this matchup. The Bulldogs only converted 2 of their 8 third downs last week, and in a one-score game against a one-sided rivalry like Alabama, Georgia couldn’t afford it in the end.

Gunner Stockton played decently, throwing for 130 yards and a touchdown, but freshman wide receiver Tayln Taylor (now out with an injury) dropped what would’ve been a walk-in touchdown, and overall, Stockton missed some throws to the middle that could’ve turned the tide against the Crimson Tide.
Georgia is expected to win by a lot, but last year, the victory wasn’t easy at Kentucky. The Bulldogs needed a final fourth-down stop to defeat the Wildcats 13-12 in Week 3 in 2024. Georgia must avoid that fate at home.
The game will be viewable on ABC, and it’s expected to kick off at noon E.T.. Georgia will play Auburn (3-2) after this matchup. Former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton will have his jersey retired during that matchup
