Caldwell and Tennessee closed the deal with an SEC standout at a position of relative need on Tuesday.

The Tennessee Lady Vols are heading back in the right direction, and the momentum seems to grow stronger with each day in what’s been a rollercoaster month of April for the program.

Every single player eligible to return hit the transfer portal, with five-star Oliviyah Edwards backing out of her letter of intent. It left Kim Caldwell with a ton of work to do to pull the program up from the rock bottom place it sunk following a first-round NCAA Tournament exit.

But lift the program up she has, and hit continued on Tuesday. Per On3 Sports’ Talia Goodman, Texas A&M forward Fatmata Janneh committed to Caldwell and the Lady Vols.
