Krzysztof Jotko keeps rolling post-UFC, snaps Engizek’s long streak

Former UFC middleweight Krzysztof Jotko continued his solid run since he left the promotion with a tournament win Saturday.

Jotko (29-6) ran his record to 4-0 for Oktagon MMA when he submitted Turkish middleweight champ Kerim Engizek (24-5) to win the promotion’s middleweight tournament, sponsored by Tipsport Gamechanger.

Jotko snapped Engizek’s 17-fight winning streak that dated back more than 11 years and won a purse of nearly $350,000 USD when he tapped the champ with a first-round rear-naked choke. His belt was not on the line in the tournament final.

Jotko’s UFC resume includes wins over Thales Leites, Marc-Andre Barriault, Eryk Anders and Gerald Meerschaert. He signed with the PFL after he left the UFC on a loss to Brendan Allen in 2022. He lost a split decision to Will Fleury in the 2023 light heavyweight season opener, and though that fight was flipped to a no contest it remains his only PFL bout.

He signed with Oktagon MMA in 2025 and now at 4-0 in the promotion, he’s got a big piece of tournament hardware.
