On Friday, TMZ released audio from the 911 call that led to two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch’s hospitalization prior to his death.

Busch’s family initially announced on Thursday that the 41-year-old had been hospitalized after experiencing a “severe illness.”
Wednesday evening’s 911 call detailed that Busch had been “struggling to breathe, overheating and coughing up blood before medics rushed to help,” according to TMZ.

Kyle Busch 911 call
TMZ released 911 audio from a call that took place on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m., with the caller requesting an ambulance to “a training facility in Concord, North Carolina.”

The caller said Busch was experiencing “shortness of breath, very hot, thinks he’s going to pass out, and he’s producing a little bit of blood, coughing up some blood.” The caller also said Busch was still conscious at the time and was lying on a bathroom floor inside the complex, and requested that the ambulance’s sirens be turned off upon arrival.
How did Kyle Busch die?
Busch’s official cause of death has not been made public.
The NASCAR star had become unresponsive while testing in the Chevrolet racing simulator on Wednesday, the Associated Press reported. His family announced on Thursday morning that Busch was hospitalized after experiencing a severe illness, and he died at age 41 later on Thursday.
