A private memorial service honoring Kyle Busch was held on Tuesday, June 2. According to a report from Fox Sports’ Bob Pockrass, a public memorial in Charlotte is being planned, the date of which has yet to be determined.
Busch’s service comes one day after Kyle Larson alluded to it when he announced he’d be donating his winnings from the High Limit Racing event at Davenport Speedway in Iowa on Monday night to the Bundle of Joy fund, a charity that Busch and his wife Samantha started to help families struggling with infertility. Larson also paid tribute to Busch when he took the podium by doing his signature “Busch Bow.”
“We all know how much the Busch family means to all of us and we greatly miss Kyle,” Larson said. “We get to celebrate his life tomorrow and I’m looking forward to doing that. I want to send that money to them.”

Busch, 41, died on May 21 of complications from pneumonia that progressed into sepsis. He was 41 years old. According to his death certificate, Busch was cremated in Mooresville, North Carolina.
