Kyle Busch’s winless streak hits 100 races after Martinsville in 2026

Kyle Busch has hit an unfortunate milestone in the NASCAR Cup Series. On Sunday, Busch and the No. 8 team for Richard Childress Racing finished in 21st place at Martinsville Speedway, continuing a rough start to the 2026 NASCAR season. In fact, Busch extended his winless streak in the Cup Series to 100 races.

Busch’s last Cup Series victory was on June 4, 2023, at World Wide Technology Raceway. It was the driver of the No. 8 car’s first season with Richard Childress Racing, and it has only gone downhill since that point. Through seven races in 2026, Busch has no top-10 finishes with a best effort of 12th place at Circuit of the Americas.

This is Busch’s final year on his contract with Richard Childress Racing and if this winless streak continues, he may move onto a different NASCAR organization. The two-time Cup Series champion hopes that his winless streak ends soon, but Richard Childress Racing needs to find more speed.
