Lady Vols Add Junior Pan Pac Medalist Madison Kryger For 2026
NEW COMMIT: The University of Tennessee has continued its recruiting tear for 2026, recently earned its latest verbal commitment from Madison Kryger of Niagara Falls, Ontario.
She will join Molly Sweeney, Charlotte Crush and Eliza Wallace in Knoxville as a member of the Lady Vols’ Class of 2030.
Regarding her commitment, she said:
“I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Tennessee! First, I want to thank God for guiding me through this entire process. I’m incredibly grateful to my family, coaches, and teammates for their support in helping me reach this point. A special thanks to Coach Matt and the amazing coaching staff at Tennessee for this incredible opportunity. I can’t wait to be a Lady Vol!”
Representing Canada internationally, Kryger earned bronze in the 100m back at Junior Pan Pacs while also taking fourth in the 200m back.
Kryger won the 200m back, was the runner-up in the 50m back and 100m back, and earned bronze in the 200m IM at Speedo Canadian Championships this past summer. She took third in the 200m back at Canadian Trials back in May, also winning the 100m back and 100m fly at Ontario Summer Championships in June.
In LCM, her best times include:
- 50m back – 28.92
- 100m back – 1:00.57
- 200m back – 2:11.96
- 100m fly – 1:01.96
- 200m IM – 2:18.61
In SCY, those times convert to:
- 50 back – 24.63
- 100 back – 51.78
- 200 back – 1:54.67
- 100 fly – 52.97
- 200 IM – 2:01.42
Kryger trains year-round with Brock Niagara Aquatics under coaches Dave Ling and Ryan Mallette.
