The Lady Vols beat Iowa 78-68 at the Barclays Center in the inaugural showcase last year. Both games were played in primetime slots on FOX at 7 and 9 p.m. last season.

The showcase was initially planned as an annual event featuring UConn, and it will include a rotation of some of the most storied college programs each season. The four teams combine for a total of 19 NCAA championships – thanks to UConn and Tennessee – along with 46 appearances in the Final Four and 120 conference titles.
The game against Louisville at a neutral site is one of several quality matchups on Tennessee’s nonconference schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Lady Vols will also face NC State in a neutral-site matchup to open the season and play UCLA, Stanford and UConn on the road.
