Charlie Creme of ESPN released updated women’s basketball bracketology for the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Tuesday.
Tennessee (16-10, 8-6 SEC) is projected as a No. 7 seed and would open tournament play in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Lady Vols are projected to face No. 10 seed Virginia in the first round. The winner would advance to play either No. 2 seed Michigan or No. 15 seed Western Illinois in the second round.
Creme projects UConn as the No. 1 overall seed, Nebraska as the last team in and Arizona State as the first team out of the NCAA Tournament.
The Final Four will be contested April 3-5 at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
Tennessee has two games remaining in the regular season: at LSU and versus Vanderbilt. The SEC Tournament will be contested March 4-8 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
