Lansing Community College basketball sophomore Kara Bartels and freshman Zander Woodruff earned NJCAA Division II All-America honors for their respective seasons.

Bartels, a 6-foot-3 sophomore center, was named a second-team All-American after anchoring the LCC women’s basketball team’s 26-6 season, including a 14-0 mark in conference play. Bartels averaged 15.1 points per game, shooting 50% from the floor, while also tallying 9.4 rebounds and 3.0 blocks per game. She scored 1,036 points in her two years with the Stars, helping the program win 51 games over two seasons.
