The Seattle Storm will host the Las Vegas Aces as the WNBA Commissioners Cup gets underway on Sunday.
Other than the championship final, games in this in-season competition count toward the regular-season standings, with teams in the Western Conference playing six total contests (the Eastern Conference, with only six teams, will play one less game). The top team in each conference will meet on July 1 in a one-game championship contest.

These two teams met just one week ago, with the Storm (3-3) dominating in a 102-82 win. Seattle got 23 points from forward Nneka Ogwumike, while Erica Wheeler stood out with 21 points off the bench. While the Aces (3-2) got a double-double from A’ja Wilson, the story of the game was simple: Seattle shot 60% from the floor and won the battle on the boards to boot.
