Lenny Krayzelburg Joins Local Action Marketing to Connect International Companies Within U.S.

Two-time Olympian and four-time Olympic champion Lenny Krayzelburg is taking on a new role with Local Action Marketing, a group focused on creating connection between international companies and American markets. The addition comes in advance of the Los Angeles Global Sport Activation Summit next month.

Ryan Bowling, the CEO of Local Action Marketing, hopes Krayzelburg’s addition will enhance connection between the group and the Olympic community. The Games are coming into greater focus in the Los Angeles area as they will return to Southern California in just over two years.

“We now have two decorated Paralympic and Olympic athletes offering invaluable first-hand experience on the power of sport and the Games,” added Bowling. “Lenny is one of the most recognized members of the U.S. swim team from the 2000 Sydney Games, and this further strengthens our connection to the Olympic community. We’re pleased to have Lenny and his Olympic background and experiences contribute to Local Action Marketing.”

Krayzelburg will appear at the summit Thursday, April 16 in Santa Monica, with focus on helping “international marketers navigate and stand out in the LA market leading up to 2028.”

The 50-year-old Krayzelburg won gold medals in the 100 and 200 backstroke plus the 400 medley relay at the Sydney Olympics. Four years later, he returned to the Games and finished fourth in the 100 back while winning a gold medal for his efforts on the U.S. men’s 400 medley relay prelims squad. Currently, Krayzelburg operates a swim lesson program in LA called SwimRight Academy.
