As No. 10 Iowa women’s basketball (18-4, 9-2 Big Ten) returns home to Carver-Hawkeye Arena tonight for a matchup against Minnesota (17-6, 5-6 Big Ten), Hawkeyes fans will be delighted to learn that legendary former head coach Lisa Bluder will be on the Big Ten Network broadcast tonight.

Bluder, who has seamlessly transitioned from being the Big Ten’s and Iowa’s all-time winningest head coach to being a quality analyst either in the studio or as a color commentator during women’s college basketball broadcasts for both the Big Ten Network, NBC and Peacock.

Iowa’s Thursday night matchup against the Golden Gophers as the color commentator alongside play-by-play voice Jason Ross Jr. on the Big Ten Network.

While the Hawkeyes recently finished off a five-game string that featured four top-15 opponents, the Golden Gophers are no easy opponent either, having won four straight and six of their last nine.

Fans can tune into Bluder’s call tonight when Iowa and Minnesota tip off from Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 6 p.m. CT.
