No. 6 Texas A&M (4-0, 1-0 SEC) will host Mississippi State (4-1, 0-1 SEC) on Saturday night for the first of two consecutive primetime games in Kyle Field, as the Aggies will host Florida in Week 7 before hitting the road for three straight weeks. On paper, the Bulldogs are decimated along the offensive line with two starters out, while safety Isaac Smith is listed as doubtful for the matchup.
Texas A&M’s defensive line is the second fastest nationally in pressure, averaging six sacks per game, and will now face a beat-up Bulldogs O-line. Still, this doesn’t guarantee success, meaning the Aggie offense will need to find a balance, starting with senior running back Le’Veon Moss.

Still, starting quarterback Marcel Reed will need to be accurate and confident in the pocket, which shouldn’t be an issue, knowing that transfer wide receivers KC Concepcion and Mario Craver are gaining consistent separation. Most importantly, Texas A&M needs to limit penalties after committing 13 during Saturday’s 16-10 win over Auburn, despite producing 414 yards on the day.
