LSU football head coach delivered some good news on Thursday. LSU center Braelin Moore practiced this week and is set to play in LSU’s Week 3 contest vs. Florida. Moore sprained his ankle vs. Louisiana Tech and left after the first play. Without Moore, LSU struggled to run the football.
Florida‘s defensive line is one of the best in the SEC, especially with the return of Caleb Banks. Getting Moore back is critical to LSU’s success up front.

Moore was named the SEC Lineman of the Week after the Tigers beat Clemson in Week 1. The Virginia Tech transfer was a key piece of LSU’s top-ranked portal class.
Moore wasn’t the only injury LSU suffered in Week 2. Tight end Trey’Dez Green left the game and was seen in a knee brace on the sideline. Kelly said Green remains questionable.
LSU is a touchdown favorite at home vs. Florida on Saturday night. It marks the SEC opener for both squads. LSU is seeking revenge after the Gators won 27-16 in Gainesville last year. That put an end to a five-game LSU series win streak.
