LSU football’s 2026 recruiting class ranks as the No. 1 class in the SEC and No. 3 in the country. The Tigers are looking to stay hot on the trail with a handful of major visitors throughout the spring.
In the coming days, LSU will host one of the nation’s top cornerbacks. Five-star corner Havon Finney Jr. will visit LSU on March 22, according to Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman.
Rivals ranks Finney as a five-star and the No. 20 overall recruit in the class. On3 and 247Sports aren’t as high on Finney, but rank the California prospect top 15 at his position.
Per Spiegelman, Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas A&M are also making a strong push for the elite corner.
LSU’s 2026 class has six commits. The only defensive back currently in the fold is safety Aiden Hall. The Tigers are yet to receive a commitment from a cornerback.
The Tigers are looking to add another group of talented defensive backs after signing a handful of blue-chips in 2025, including five-star DJ Pickett.
Five-star CB Havon Finney Jr. has four spring visits on tap beginning with a return to LSU on March 22. Michigan, Ohio State, and Texas A&M are also making strong runs at Rivals’ No. 2-rated cornerback
