For the second time in her career, MiLaysia Fulwiley was named SEC Sixth Woman of the Year. The LSU women's basketball guard provided a spark off the bench the entire regular season.
Playing 29 games as a substitute, Fulwiley averages a team-best 14.1 points per game on 47.4% shooting from the field. She added 3.9 rebounds per contest along with 93 steals and 41 blocks, both of which rank first on the team.
On both ends of the floor, Fulwiley improved and led with energy. She often draws one of the toughest defensive assignments and shows full-court pressure. The junior guard adds to the fast pace of play the Tigers prefer, jump-starting the offense in transition and half-court sets.
