
Travis Hunter made his mark on the Colorado Buffaloes before being drafted with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Hunter played two seasons at Colorado and one season at Jackson State.
In his final season with the Buffaloes, Hunter was named the Heisman Trophy winner, awarded to the most outstanding player in college football.

He was also named the Biletnikoff Award winner, given to the best wide receiver in the country.
While Hunter is already headed to the NFL, closing the chapter on his college football career, the Buffaloes recently announced some exciting news about the football star.
Hunter has been named the Colorado Male Athlete of the Year.
Hunter finished his final season with the Colorado Buffaloes, posting 15 touchdowns and 1,258 yards on 96 receptions.
As many may know, Hunter played both sides for the Buffaloes. He served as the team’s No. 1 wide receiver and No. 1 cornerback, making a name for himself as one of the greatest athletes in college football history.

On the defensive end, Hunter recorded one forced fumble, four interceptions, 11 pass deflections and 35 tackles during his final season at Colorado.

Hunter finished his three-year college football career as one of the most unique players in sports history.
He helped Colorado finish the season with a 9-4 record, competing in the Alamo Bowl against the BYU Cougars.
While Hunter was named the Colorado Male Athlete of the Year, first-year star Jordan Seaton was named the 2025 Male Freshman of the Year and LaJohntay Wester was named the 2025 Male Newcomer of the Year.
