Texas women’s basketball is a No. 1 seed in the NCAA tournament.
They take the hardwood Saturday in Austin to play the winner of High Point and William & Mary. If they win that game, they will finish their season at Moody Center playing either Illinois or Creighton on Monday night.
The Longhorns (31-3, 15-1) played in a new conference this year, winning every game except for one against South Carolina. They made it to the SEC Tournament championship round but lost to the Gamecocks again for the second time this season.
