The 6-foot-3 sophomore averaged 11 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game last season for the Cougars. His shooting splits were pedestrian, however, as he shot just 38.9% from the field and 34.8% from deep. Watts posted a season-high 22 points against Eastern Washington on Nov. 21, and started 17 of his 23 games played.

As a freshman, he averaged 3.7 points per game and shot 37.7% from three.

Watts was a three-star prospect and the No. 7-ranked player in the state of Washington coming out of high school, according to 247Sports.

Watts is the fourth guard to transfer to the Terps, joining Myles Rice, David Coit and Andre Mills.
