CFB on Fox analyst and former Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart was nice enough to share praise via Twitter/X of Cincinnati Bearcats quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who has helped UC to a 7-1 start this season.
But Leinart made the mistake in his tweet of misspelling Cincinnati, as so many have before him. And he predictably took flak in the replies.

“Brendan Sorsby for Cincinatti is having a DAMN year. Time to start showing him some Heisman love,” Leinart tweeted.
Leinart came to UC’s campus in 2023 for Fox’s “Big Noon Kickoff Show” before UC’s Big 12 debut against Oklahoma at Nippert Stadium.
FanDuel lists Sorsby’s Heisman odds as +6000. Eleven players have shorter odds than Sorsby.
