TCU men’s basketball lost another player to the transfer portal. This time, it’s sophomore center Malick Diallo, who missed practically the entire 2025-26 season to a knee injury but will depart after two years with the Horned Frogs. A former four-star recruit, Diallo played in six minutes before suffering an ACL injury in TCU’s season-opener against New Orleans. As a freshman, Diallo appeared in 29 games, averaging 2.2 points and 2.7 rebounds.
Diallo is the sixth player to leave for the transfer portal, following sophomore forward David Punch, junior guard Liutauras Lelevicius, redshirt freshman guard Ashton Simmons and redshirt sophomore guards Jace Posey and R.J. Jones. Rated the No. 30 center in the nation by 247Sports out of high school, Diallo chose TCU over Cal, Miami, Vanderbilt and more. The 6-foot-9 center from Mali will depart with three years of eligibility remaining.
