Mets prospect Jett Williams was in action on Saturday night in the Arizona Fall League Fall Stars’ Game.
Playing shortstop and batting leadoff, the 21-year-old finished 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored playing for the NL Fall Stars. He also added a nifty catch up the middle to end the top of the third inning.

Williams was pulled after five innings, but he led off the bottom of the first with a walk and scored the game’s first run to give the NL Fall Stars a 1-0 lead. The NL Fall Stars ended up losing, 6-5.
In 19 games in the AFL, Williams — New York’s lone All-Star — has two home runs, three doubles, two triples and seven RBI while batting .222 (16-for-72) to go along with 12 runs scored, 15 walks and seven stolen bases to one caught stealing.
