A great portion of the college football television calendar for the early part of the 2025 season has been finalized on Thursday, May 29, and it’s no different for the Miami Hurricanes.
We’ve known for a while who the Hurricanes will square off against in their 12 regular season games. But now we’re getting more specific on the “when” and “what channel” for a few games.

Last season, Cam Ward helped lead the Hurricanes to the brink of the ACC title game and the College Football Playoff. Now, Carson Beck will get the first crack at quarterbacking Mario Cristobal’s Hurricanes back to the top of the conference and the college football world.

Here are the games that now have TV and time information:
Sunday, Aug. 31, vs. Notre Dame, 7:30 p.m., ABC
This one has been on the calendar for a while as a marquee matchup for the opening week of the college football season. The Hurricanes and Fighting Irish will wake up echoes of monumental games from decades ago, and considering Notre Dame is fresh off a College Football Playoff appearance, this will likely be a ranked matchup out of the gate at Hard Rock Stadium.
Saturday, Sept. 6, vs. Bethune Cookman, 7 p.m., ACC Network Extra/ESPN+
The Hurricanes welcome their in-state foes from Daytona Beach for what would otherwise be categorized as a cupcake game for the home team. Miami has won all seven previous matchups by a combined score of 350-57.

Saturday, Sept. 13, vs. South Florida, 4:30 p.m., CW
A newer television partner for the ACC and, as far as we can remember, the first Miami football game on the CW. Alas, another in-state matchup as the team from Tampa visits Hard Rock Stadium. The AAC member program went 7-6 last season with a win in the Hawaii Bowl.
Friday, Oct. 17, vs. Louisville, 7 p.m., ESPN or ESPN2
Another fall staple: ACC football on Friday nights. And the Hurricanes will do their part with this conference tilt at home against the Cardinals. You may remember last season’s shootout in Louisville in which Miami escaped with a 52-45 victory.
