Michigan State basketball is gearing up for the 2025-26 season, the 31st in Tom Izzo’s tenure with the Spartans. With the season on the horizon, the Spartans have announced how they will be beginning the year.

As is coming customary, high profile exhibition games are being played across the country, with the best teams in the nation playing against one another to gear up for the season ahead.

Michigan State has been no stranger to the high level exhibitions, playing Tennessee two years ago. This year, the Spartans will be facing off against the UConn Huskies.

Michigan State and UConn will be facing off on Oct. 28 in Storrs, Connecticut, giving the Spartans a nice early road trip in an exhibition fashion.
