Michigan State football has lined up their latest official visit, this time locking in a player at a position of need, with significant ties to the university. Amari Vickerson, the son of former Spartan DT Kevin Vickerson, has announced that he will be heading to East Lansing for an official visit.
Vickerson is a 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive tackle from Cypress, Texas, playing for Cy Ranch High School. He is currently committed to SMU. The visit is scheduled for June 19-21.

He is a high three-star prospect, ranking as an 88 on the 247Sports composite ranking, holding 25 offers from power conference schools including Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, amongst others.
