Michigan State women’s basketball has had a tough go of things in recent weeks. The Spartans have dropped four out of their last five games, all to ranked opponents, while sitting on a two-game losing streak. On Wednesday night, they bounced back in a massive way.

Michigan State welcomed in Northwestern to the Breslin Center, and dominated the Wildcats, earning a 104-68 win.

The win improves MSU to 21-6 on the year and gets the team a much-needed win before the final two game stretch of the 2025-26 season, before heading into postseason play.

Leading the way for MSU was Grace Vanslooten with 22 points. Kennedy Blair was right behind her with 17 points of her own, while also adding 10 assists for the double double. Jalyn Brown (15 points), Marah Dykstra (14 points) and Sara Sambolic (13 points) all finished in double figures as well.

Michigan State will travel to Minneapolis on Sunday for a matchup with Minnesota, looking to win their second straight game.
