Michigan State women’s basketball is off to the best start in program history, moving to 9-0 after dominating DePaul on Sunday afternoon, 89-61.

Julia Ayrault paved the way for the Spartans, finishing with a double-double, scoring 17 points while adding 12 rebounds. Jaddan Simmons was the leading scorer for the Spartans with 18 points. Emma Shumate (12 points) and Jocelyn Tate (10 points) also finished in double figures in the win.

Michigan State will begin Big Ten play next Sunday with a massive matchup against Iowa, one of the top teams in America.
