Kiyah Lewis, Central Connecticut

Lewis notched 28.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks per game for the week. The freshman poured in a career-high 36 points and 11 rebounds for her first-ever collegiate double-double at Saint Francis on Saturday. That’s the most points a game by an NEC player this season. She added two steals and two blocks and went 13-of-15 from the free throw line. Lewis is one of two freshmen and one of seven players nationwide to score at least 36 points and grab at least 11 boards in a game this season. Earlier in the week, the Fredericksburg, Va., native had 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting at Mercyhurst on Thursday.

Brooklyn Meyer, South Dakota State

Meyer led the Jackrabbits as they avenged their two conference losses against their two biggest rivals. The senior opened the week with 18 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 11 rebounds as the Jacks won at North Dakota State to snap the Bison’s 23-game winning streak. The Larchwood, Iowa, native then had 33 points on 13-of-17 shooting, seven rebounds, and two assists in a blowout win over South Dakota. That was the seventh 30-point game of her career as she broke the program’s single-season scoring record.
