The Mississippi State Bulldogs men’s basketball team has been busy on the recruiting trail but picked up a win from the transfer portal.
Kansas State guard Achor Achor announced he would be transferring to MSU on Friday. The 6-foot-8, 225-pounder can spread the floor and is once of the most experienced. The Melbourne, Australia native played his prep career at Greenforest McCalep Academy in Georgia before going the JUCO route.

Achor signee with Samford before KSU, averaging 10.9 and 4.6 rebounds over the past three years. His best game was against Arkansas Pine-Bluff, in which he played 24 minutes, scored 21 points, and grabbed three rebounds.
Achor is the latest MSU transfer, joining Amier Ali (Arizona State), Sam Walters (Michigan), JaBorri MaGhee (UAB), and Quincy Ballard (Wichita State). This comes after Chris Jans and the Bulldogs lost both KeShawn Murphy and Michael Nwoko. The class currently sits at five and Josh Hubbard could still return.
