Missouri State basketball will look to rebound after dropping a heartbreaker to Northern Iowa when it travels to Belmont one last time as a Missouri Valley Conference member.
The Bears and Bruins will tip off at 4 p.m. on Saturday in Nashville.
The Bears are coming off a 66-61 loss to Northern Iowa. The game was tied late before a flagrant call was assessed against Missouri State after a monitor review. This led to a four-point possession for the Panthers, who put the game out of reach. The loss followed the Bears’ first Valley win of the season, defeating Murray State 77-56 on Feb. 1.
Belmont snapped a two-game losing streak by beating Bradley 80-77 on the road. The Bruins started league play 6-2 but have since lost three of their last five.
