Signing day is over, and the transfer portal is closed. Missouri State football’s incoming class is complete, so there’s no better time to look at the top Bears‘ 2026 transfers.
Two things are worth noting. First, this isn’t a complete list of transfers. Rather, it’s only the five that have the highest potential for Missouri State in 2026. And secondly, there will not be any freshmen on this list. For a list of the Bears’ impact freshmen, click here.

All stars listed are transfers unless otherwise noted.
Stratton Shufelt
Shufelt played sparingly for the Miners in 2025, but still showed flashes, including a seven-tackle performance against Delaware and a five-tackle showing against Texas. He was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team in 2024.
Isaiah Myers
-
Former School: Western Kentucky
Myers only had two catches for 43 yards with the Hilltoppers in 2025, but he has potential. In 2023, he was named a First-Team NJCAA All-American for Independence Community College.
Missouri State football capped off its first homecoming weekend as part of Conference USA with a hard-fought win — its sixth straight — against UTEP on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025.
Joel Kpassou
Kpassou is a defensive back by trade, racking up 28 tackles for the Dukes in 2025. However, he also stars on special teams, averaging 30.7 yards per kick return last season and even getting occasional reps on offense at running back at his prior stop for Division II Findlay.

Isaiah Villanueva
-
Former School: Jackson State
Don’t let his low ranking fool you. Villanueva offered versatility at both guard and center for the Tigers. He helped clear the way for an offense that rushed for over 3,200 yards, ranking eighth nationally in the FCS at over 200 yards per game.

Dylan Brooks
Brooks has talent, committing to Auburn as a blue-chip recruit in 2021. However, he’s dealt with injuries throughout his career, leading to his transfer to the Jayhawks and missing all of the 2024 and 2025 seasons. Still, if he can stay healthy, he can be a welcome addition to the pass rush in 2026.
