Missouri State basketball will begin the league portion of its schedule on Sunday afternoon, marking its final run through the Missouri Valley Conference.
The Bears, who are bound for Conference USA in 2025-26, will travel to Evansville for a 3 p.m. game at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.
MSU enters the game winners of its last two games. It beat UC Santa Barbara for arguably its best non-conference win on Dec. 22 before having the holiday off.
Evansville enters the game on a five-game losing streak, losing its last two games by 26 points or more. In early December, the Purple Aces lost 63-61 to Murray State in an MVC game. On Dec. 18, they lost 80-54 to UT-Arlington, a team the Bears beat 78-68 on Nov. 19.
