Missouri State women’s basketball starter Kyrah Daniels has entered the transfer portal.
On3 was the first to report her entry. The News-Leader confirmed the Colorado native, who has started 57 games for the Lady Bears over the last two seasons, will explore other options.
Daniels has been one of the Lady Bears’ best players since joining the program. After a promising freshman year, she averaged 12 points on 38.6% shooting, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game as a sophomore.
She started all 35 games for the Lady Bears in a season in which the team won a Missouri Valley Conference regular-season championship and advanced to the second round of the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament.

Daniels’ potential departure would be a loss when the Lady Bears have a promising young nucleus heading into Beth Cunningham’s fourth season as coach. A busy offseason already saw Cunningham needing to replace four other starters.
Cunningham has her work cut out for her heading into the program’s first season in Conference USA. Right now, the Lady Bears will feature Kaemyn Bekemeier, Lainie Douglas and those they add before the 2025-26 season.
