Kevin Vallejos has fought four times in the UFC, and not only has he won each of those fights, the 24-year-old featherweight has scored exhilarating knockouts in three of the wins.
His latest was Saturday’s first-round TKO of Josh Emmett, a longtime top-10 contender in the 145-pound division. It was a dominant enough performance to vault the 18-1 Argentine into the latest ESPN divisional rankings, pushing out Emmett.
The other rankings movement created by Saturday’s UFC Fight Night is at strawweight, where Gillian Robertson leapfrogs Amanda Lemos after beating her by unanimous decision. Robertson, a winner of five fights in a row, moves up one spot to No. 6. Lemos slips to No. 7.
Here are the ESPN pound-for-pound MMA rankings and a list of current UFC champions in all weight classes.
Results are current; rankings as of March 17. To be eligible for the rankings, a fighter must have competed over the past 12 months or must have an upcoming fight booked. Fighters who have been dropped for inactivity can be reinstated only after they compete.
