Charriere (21-11-1 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has been up and down as he’s alternated losses and wins in his past four fights. He’s coming off a third-round knockout of Nate Landwehr in a Fight of the Night this past June.

Serving as a solid offering at featherweight is a matchup between Morgan Charriere and Milquizael Costa.

Both fighters have quietly been building momentum, so it’s a shame to see one of them lose this Saturday.
Although this feels like a fight that Charriere will be live to find a finish in from beginning to end, the Frenchman has a propensity to make contests closer than they need to be.
I also believe that the smaller octagon could favor Costa from a grappling perspective, especially since that’s where the biggest on-paper disparity possibly lies.
Couple that with the southpaw kicking game that Costa offers on the feet, and I’ll slightly lean toward the Brazilian to secure a narrow win on the scorecards.
