MSU Basketball drops in latest ESPN ‘Bracketology’

by

Michigan State basketball dropped a stinker early this week so its no surprise they dropped in the latest batch of “Bracketology” from ESPN’s Joe Lunardi.

Michigan State is in the midst of a slump with losses in three of their last four games, and this last loss to the Hoosiers was their worst by far. That loss dropped Michigan State from a No. 3 seed to a No. 4 seed in Lunardi’s updated NCAA Tournament bracket projection released on Friday.

Michigan State is projected to face No. 13 seed High Point in the first round of the South Region, according to Lunardi.

Michigan State is one of 10 teams from the Big Ten in the updated “Bracketology” post from Lunardi.

The Spartans are 19-5 overall and 10-3 in Big Ten play on the year. Michigan State heads to Illinois on Saturday night for a big-time road matchup.
